Beautiful and historic Wells continues to be one of the finest family vacation spots anywhere, offering seven miles of coastline, the nationally recognized Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge and the Wells Estuarine Research Reserve at Laudholm.

The Wells Regional Transportation Center is home to the Downeaster Passenger Train operated by Amtrak which runs from Boston’s North Station to Brunswick Maine. The center is served by taxis and an in-season trolley service. Parking is FREE.
